How will we move on?
By standing against what is wrong and saying it is wrong with firmness and kindness.
By honoring facts, not distorting them.
By holding hands.
And laughing.
And pointing out what is right and saying it is right with firmness and kindness.
By honoring feelings.
And fear.
And confusion.
And sadness.
By planting flowers and giving them to people.
Even people we don’t know.
Or even like.
By pointing out what is beautiful and saying it is beautiful with firmness and kindness.
And dancing to this beauty.
And singing.
And writing and reading.
And drawing and painting.
And celebrating what is beautiful.
To our very dying day.

Thank you and thank you for adding me to this group…. maybe one day we will meet up.
thanks soooo much, Naseem!
These words confirm what I have been feeling. Thank you for writing and sharing, Naseem. Together, we can do this.
Thank you.!
This is excellent. They will not take my joy – if 60,000,000 people double down on kindness they will feel it, we will feel it. But, never be afraid to STAND.
